Sunday Morning Murder
posted by Mommamouse - April 08 2012 07:59:24 AM
One day, a man was found dead in his room as he was getting ready to go to church. The only people who could have done it add up to:
1. His teenage daughter, who claimed to have been already in church and waiting for the victim to arrive.
2. The victims friend, who claimed to be coming from the bank when the victims wife called him.
3. The victims wife, who was in the car waiting for him. She claimed to be the one to hear the screams and tell everyone else.
4. The friends son. He was in the bathroom at the time, constipated.

Who was most likely lying?

Had to be the victim's friend...the bank is closed on Sundays.

Normally I wouldn't assume that just because he mentioned them going to church that it was a Sunday, however, he titled the riddle "Sunday Morning Murder." So, I'm assuming it is a safe assumption in this case. ;-)
