coin trick

Man #1 challenges man #2 to a bet. #1 puts a coin under a cup and says that he can move the coin to his hand without moving the cup. He even shook the cup around to prove that the coin was under it. #2 agrees to the bet. Then #1 says that he won and that the coin is gone from under the cup, he even lets #2 check. In the end #1 won the bet, how did he win?

He let #2 check under the cup, the coin must still have been there, then he pretended to lose, and #2 gives the coin back to #1.. So effectively, #1 indeed DID move the coin from under the cup into his hand, by manipulating #2, and hence ended up winning.. :P [This is what I thought I'd do.. Sounds more of a scam scheme than a riddle :P :D ]

well congrats caprico, and it is a scam scheme, one I thankfully didn't lose.
