The ages of a father and son add up to 66. The father's age is the son's age reversed.
How old could they be? (3 possible solutions)

For everyone else, this is how you solve it.

Let father's age be xy ( x and y are digits)
So son's age is yx
Now xy can be written as 10x + y
and yx can be written as 10y + x
[Like 56 can be written as 10(5) + 6]
Adding these two,
11x+11y + 66
x+y = 6
There are 4 integral solutions to this
x=0 y=6
x=1 y=5
x=2 y=4
x=3 y=3
Now father and son both can't be 33, so remaining are my answers. :)[/hide]

It is more like 24 and 42 because usually thre is a 20 year different between father and son
